VISA FOR DENMARK, NORWAY, SLOVENIA, ESTONIA AND ICELAND

Following are the requirements when applying for a Schengen visa. Please apply minimum 15 days in advance.

All applications for visas for Norway and Denmark together with other enquiries concerning these matters shall be submitted to the Royal Danish Embassy.

On April 5, 2010, regulation no. 810/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a Community Code on Visas (Visa Code) enters into force.
For Denmark and all other Schengen member states, the Visa Code will hereafter be the regulatory framework for visas.
These new regulations imply new demands on the application, meaning that all supporting documents must be handed in along with the Schengen application form.

All  APPLICANTS HAVE TO COME IN PERSON.

It is essential that you collect all of the following documents before presenting your application to the Mission(/outsourcing agency):

• Application form 
• Valid passport
• NRC
• Photo
• Visa fee
• All supporting documents (in the panel on the right you can download information on which supporting documents that are needed)

If supporting documents are not presented promptly, your application upon examination may be refused and the visa fee lost.

For both busniess and private visas a letter of  invitation is also needed:

• Invitation application(Denmark)
• Guarantee Form for visits(Norway)

Please note that the requested supporting documents, as a general rule, are the same at all Schengen Missions (in the local area).

Please note that a stamp stating place and date of application will be applied to your passport when submitting the visa application.

Guideline time:

Approximately time for a visa consideration not needed to go through The Danish Immigration Service: 14 days.

Please apply in good time before intended date of travel, at least two weeks prior to departure but not earlier than 3 month prior to departure
